I am an Assistant Professor of Information and Decision Sciences in the College of Business Administration, and of Computer Science (by courtesy), at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I obtained my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2015, where I was advised by Jean Walrand. From 2015-2017, I was a postdoc in the Social Algorithms lab at the Management Science and Engineering Dept. of Stanford University, hosted and advised by Ramesh Johari and Ashish Goel. Here is my CV.

I am involved in algorithmic research at various cross-sections of market design, applied probability, and online learning, with applications to operationalizing modern economic and policy paradigms. I teach the Revenue Management and Service Operations Management courses at UIC's Liautaud Graduate School of Business.

Students with strong mathematical background interested in IDS research are encouraged to apply to our doctoral program.
