I am an Associate Professor of Information and Decision Sciences (IDS) in the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago, where I also have a courtesy appointment in Computer Science. Before joining UIC, I was a postdoc in the Society and Algorithms lab at the Management Science and Engineering Dept. of Stanford University.  I obtained my Ph.D. in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2015. My research helps firms make better decisions by leveraging methods in AI, machine learning, statistics, and optimization. Recently, I have been mainly interested in foundation models and transfer-learning methods for causal demand prediction, with applications to pricing.
